  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen fully cooked meatballs
  • 1 cup apple cider (not apple juice)
  • 1/2 cup smoky or hickory-style barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen meatballs to your slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the apple cider, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, and cloves until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the meatballs and stir gently to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours, stirring once halfway through.
  5. Keep warm for serving and drizzle a little extra sauce over the top before plating.
