Sweater Weather Cookie Stackers
Ingredients
- Chips Ahoy! Thins
- Oreo Thins
- Ghirardelli white melts
- Oil-based food coloring (blue is great, but any holiday shade works)
- Holiday sprinkles
- Sweater or stocking-shaped royal icing decorations (any festive shapes work)
Instructions
- Lay out the number of cookies you want to make. If you’re making 12 stackers, set 12 Chips Ahoy! Thins on a flat surface and top each one with an Oreo Thin.
- Melt the white chocolate according to the package directions, then tint it with your chosen color.
- If the cookie layers separate when dipping, “glue” them together with a small dab of melted chocolate and let it set for a minute.
- Use a fork to gently dip each cookie stack into the melted chocolate, tapping the fork on the bowl to remove excess.
- Transfer the coated stackers to a parchment-lined baking sheet. While the chocolate is still wet, add sprinkles and finish with your royal icing sweater or stocking pieces.
- Let them set until the chocolate firms up, then enjoy!
