Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Melt ½ bag of the white Ghirardelli melts according to the package directions. Stir in the yellow food coloring until it’s a bright, sunny yellow. Pour into each cavity of the chick mold and tap gently to release any air bubbles. Pop it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to set.
  2. Melt 1 full bag of white melts, then stir in the purple food coloring. Fill each Oreo mold halfway with the purple chocolate, press in a Golden Birthday Cake Oreo, and cover the top with more chocolate until it’s level with the mold. Tap again to get rid of any bubbles and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  3. Once fully set, flip the Oreo mold over onto a cutting board and gently press on the back of each cavity to pop them out. The warmth from your fingers will help if needed. Give each one a light spray of edible glitter—just don’t smudge it while it’s still wet!
  4. Remove the chicks from their mold. Melt a little extra white chocolate to use as “glue,” then dab a bit on the back of each chick and press it onto the top of each Oreo. Let them sit until the chocolate sets.
  5. Wrap them in favor bags and tie with cute Easter ribbon, if desired.
