Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (8-count, with icing)
  • 1 (21 oz) can apple pie filling
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and butter or spray a medium oven-safe skillet—cast iron works great—or use an 8×8 baking dish. Spread the apple pie filling evenly across the bottom of the skillet. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon to deepen the flavor, then scatter the chopped pecans over the top.
  2. Separate the cinnamon rolls and slice each one in half. Arrange the pieces over the apple mixture, leaving a little space between each to give them room to puff up as they bake.
  3. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the cinnamon rolls are golden and cooked through. If the tops are browning too quickly, you can tent the skillet loosely with foil for the last 5–10 minutes.
  4. Warm the included icing in the microwave for about 5–10 seconds until it’s easy to drizzle. Pour it generously over the cobbler, then add the caramel sauce and finish with a pinch of flaky sea salt for the perfect sweet-salty balance.
  5. Serve warm, straight from the skillet. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if you want a hot and cold combo.
