Red Velvet Chocolate-Covered Strawberries

  • 1 pint (about 1 pound) fresh strawberries – pick the juiciest ones
  • 1 package Sweetshop Red Velvet Flavored Melt’ems (12 oz)
  • Melted white chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries and gently pat them completely dry. Moisture will prevent the chocolate from sticking, so make sure they’re fully dry. Set aside.
  2. Melt the red velvet Melt’ems according to the package instructions, microwaving in 30-second intervals and stirring in between until smooth. Let it cool slightly—if it’s too hot, it’ll slide right off the berries.
  3. Line a tray with parchment paper. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, covering about three-quarters of the berry. Shake off any excess and place it on the tray. Repeat with the rest.
  4. Chill the tray in the fridge until the chocolate is fully set, about 15–20 minutes.
  5. Drizzle the strawberries with melted white chocolate.
  6. Return to the fridge for another 10–15 minutes to set the drizzle, then serve and enjoy.
