Banana Bread Batter:

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Pumpkin Swirl:

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tbsp flour
Topping
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9×5″ loaf pan with parchment and spray with baking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, oil, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until just combined.
  4. In a separate small bowl, stir together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and flour.
  5. Pour half the banana batter into the loaf pan. Dollop half the pumpkin mixture on top. Swirl lightly with a knife.
  6. Repeat with remaining batter and swirl again for a marbled effect.
  7. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
  8. Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes to thicken, then slowly pour it over the banana bread.
