Oktoberfest Pretzel Brat Sliders

Ingredients

  • Pretzel slider buns
  • 4 bratwursts, fully cooked and sliced in half or thirds
  • 1 tbsp butter, for toasting buns
  • 1 cup warm beer cheese (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup crispy fried onions (like French’s)
  • Optional: sauerkraut, pickles, spicy or grainy mustard

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and toast the inside of the pretzel buns until golden brown.
  2. Layer sliced bratwurst onto the bottom half of each bun. Spoon warm beer cheese over the brats, then top with crispy fried onions and any optional toppings you like.
  3. Add the top bun and secure with a sandwich pick if needed. Serve warm with chips or German potato salad.
