  • 2 whole wheat
  • pita breads
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F.
  2. Brush the pitas with the olive oil. Cut the them into triangles (like pizza slices).
  3. Arrange the triangles on a baking sheet in a single layer (no overlapping for best crispiness).
  4. In a small bowl, mix the salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Sprinkle evenly over the pita triangles.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, until firm.Let them cool for 15 minutes— they’ll crisp and harden up even more as they cool.

*Note- it’s better to bake them longer, at a lower temp so that they do not burn and really dry out.
