Mean Girls-Inspired Marshmallow Treats

- 4 tbsp salted butter
- 1 bag of strawberry marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1/2 cup frosted animal cookies, chopped
- Pink chocolate for drizzle
- Gummy lips
- Black or pink sprinkles, optional
Tools:
- 13 x 9 pan
- Parchment paper if desired or cooking spray
- Fondant smoother
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the marshmallows and butter over medium-low heat. Be sure to stir them often so that the marshmallows don’t burn.
- Once melted, remove the pot from the heat and stir in the Rice Krispies until they’re evenly coated.
- Lastly, fold in the animal cookies just until they’re mixed throughout the krispies. Optional, fold in a couple tablespoons of sprinkles. If you use black, keep in mind the color might bleed a bit so don’t stir too much.
- Press the mixture into a 13 x 9 pan sprayed with baking spray. You can also use parchment paper + cooking spray if you want to be sure they don’t stick. I lightly press down on them with a fondant smoother.
- Let the treats cool a bit and then drizzle them with pink chocolate and press the kisses into the chocolate on top. Allow them to cool completely and then cut into rectangles.
