6–8 slices bacon, par-cooked until just starting to brown
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp maple syrup
Optional: crushed pecans or flaky salt, for topping
Instructions
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 10 minutes. Par-bake the bacon at 350°F for about 4 minutes, just until it begins to brown. Cut into 2-inch strips.
In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Fold each bacon strip in half (like a mini hamburger shape) and thread onto skewers, alternating with Brussels sprouts. Continue until skewers are filled.
Place skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 380°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
During the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush skewers with maple syrup. Brush again immediately after removing them from the air fryer for extra flavor and to help the pecans stick.
Sprinkle with crushed pecans or flaky salt before serving warm.
