Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • • 1/4 cup milk
  • • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • • 2 sausage links, cooked and crumbled (or 1/3 cup crumbled sausage)
  • • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • • 1/2 cup diced veggies like peppers, onions, tomatoes (optional)
  • • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook the bacon and sausage in a skillet until crispy and cooked through. Drain and crumble them.
  3. If using vegetables, sauté the bell peppers, tomatoes, or other veggies in a skillet with a bit of butter or oil until softened.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Grease a medium-sized oven-safe skillet (about 9 inches) with butter or olive oil.
  6. Spread the crumbled bacon, sausage, and sautéed vegetables evenly across the skillet.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the top.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the eggs.
  9. Place the skillet over medium heat and cook for 2-3 minutes, just until the edges begin to set.
  10. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the frittata is puffed and the center is set.
  11. Let the frittata cool for 5 minutes before slicing into wedges or squares.
  12. Serve warm or at room temperature with ketchup.
