Grilled Pizza Sliders

  • 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 count – traditional sweet or savory both work)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara (plus extra for dipping)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 pepperoni slices (or add cooked sausage crumbles for extra flavor)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat (about 350°F).
  2. Without separating the rolls, slice the whole sheet in half horizontally. Place the bottom half on a large piece of foil.
  3. Spread with pizza sauce, sprinkle with half the cheese, add pepperoni, and top with the remaining cheese. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  4. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush over the tops of the rolls.
  5. Wrap the entire sandwich slab tightly in foil.
  6. Place on the grill over indirect heat for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  7. Unwrap, cut into individual sliders, and serve with warm marinara for dipping.
