Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 containers of Original Flaky Layers Biscuits (8 count) cut into 8 pieces- or any biscuit brand that you like
  • 1/4 cup melted garlic butter (store-bought or homemade- I use salted butter, melt it then add a clove of minced garlic)
  • 1/2# sausage, cooked and crumbled and divided
  • 8 oz pizza sauce
  • 2 c shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 20 pepperoni slices (or whatever amount you’d like on your pizza!)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray.
  • Cut each biscuit into 8 sections. I used food scissors and place them at the bottom of the dish.
  • Add half of the sausage, pizza sauce, 1 cup of cheese, Italian seasoning, and stir to combine it. You’re basically just making sure that the biscuits are totally covered.
  • Drizzled the melted butter on top. Add the rest of the shredded cheese, the rest of the sauce, the rest of the sausage, and the pepperoni.
  • Bake for 25 minutes and the remove from the oven and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve.
