  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ½ cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 45 lemons)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice
  • Optional: Fresh mint leaves or lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the strawberry puree: Blend strawberries and honey (or sugar) in a blender until smooth.
  2. Strain (optional): If you prefer a smoother lemonade, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
  3. Mix it up: In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry puree, lemon juice, and cold water. Stir well.
  4. Chill and serve: Add ice and refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with fresh mint or lemon slices.
