Ingredients

Scale
  • 3¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cold salted butter, cubed
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups chopped Mother’s Dynamite Dinosaurs cookies + extra whole cookies for a topper
  • 1½ cups assorted chips- milk, dark, and white
  • Dark or milk chocolate for drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 410°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream cold butter and sugars until thick and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk dry ingredients. Add to the wet mix until combined- dough will be thick.
  4. Fold in cookie pieces and chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop large dough balls (about 5-6 oz each) and place on the sheet. Do not put more than 4 cookies on a sheet.
  6. Bake 8–10 minutes until golden on the edges but soft inside.
  7. Let rest 30 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Cool for an additional hour or two. The flavor and texture gets better as it sets.
  8. Drizzle each cooled cookie with chocolate. Press a few whole dino cookies on top while warm for that “prehistoric bakery” finish. Let the chocolate set and then serve.
