Cookies & Cream Cupcake Base

- 1 box white cake mix
- Ingredients listed on the cake mix box (typically eggs, oil, and water)
- 1 additional egg (one more than the box calls for)
- 1 tablespoon additional oil
- 1 (3.4 oz) box instant white chocolate or vanilla pudding mix (dry)
- 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies (very small pieces, not finely ground)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions. Line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, the ingredients listed on the box, the extra egg, and the additional tablespoon of oil. - Add the dry pudding mix (do not prepare it) and stir until the batter is smooth.
- Gently fold in the crushed Oreo pieces until evenly distributed.
- Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake according to the cupcake time on the cake mix box, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before frosting.
