  • 6 cups Cocoa Krispies cereal
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1/2 teaspoon black cocoa powder (or dark cocoa powder)
  • Purple and black bat sprinkles (bats, stars, or jimmies work great)
  • Melted chocolate for drizzling (I recommend Ghirardelli melts)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  2. Stir in the black cocoa powder and dark chocolate chips until fully melted and glossy.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in the Cocoa Krispies until evenly coated.
  4. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 pan. Use a buttered spatula or fondant smoother to gently flatten the top.
  5. While still warm, add your purple and black sprinkles or jimmies and press them lightly into the surface.
  6. Drizzle the top with melted chocolate, then add sprinkle bats or candy pieces before the chocolate sets.
  7. Chill for 15–20 minutes or until set, then slice into squares and serve.
