1–2 pints of strawberries, chopped into small pieces or sliced
Holiday sprinkles or glittery sugar
Instructions
Chop the Christmas Tree cakes into small pieces, leaving 3 aside uncut
In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Set it aside.
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and extracts until smooth.
Gently fold in the whipping cream.
In a trifle bowl, spread half of the chopped cakes at the base. Top with half of the whipped cream/cream cheese mixture. Spread half of the chopped or sliced strawberries on top of that.
Add another layer of cake, berries, and cream. Note- you can layer this however you’d like! I did cake, cream and berries, and then cake, berries, and cream for mine 🙂
You can totally leave the trifle as-is or top with sprinkles, glittery sugar, and the extra three cakes.
