  • 1 box brownie mix (typically 18–19 oz, like Betty Crocker or Ghirardelli), plus the ingredients listed on the box
  • 1 pouch sugar cookie mix (about 17.5 oz, such as Betty Crocker), prepared according to package directions
  • Rainbow sprinkles – 1/3 cup for the brownie batter, 1/3 cup for the cookie dough, plus more for the top

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie batter according to the box instructions, then stir in 1/3 cup rainbow sprinkles. Pour into the pan and smooth the top.
  3. Make the sugar cookie dough as directed on the package. Fold in 1/3 cup rainbow sprinkles.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough evenly over the brownie batter and lightly press them in.
  5. Sprinkle a few extra rainbow sprinkles over everything for a little extra fun.
  6. Bake following the brownie mix instructions, but add 5–10 extra minutes. The top should be golden and the center just set.
  7. Cool completely before slicing. Serve warm for a gooey brookie or chill for a firmer, chewier bite.
